Zoey Pollard is a music business professional from Medfield, MA, who graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor's in Music Business from Belmont University.

In high school, I did everything I could to surround myself with music, from being in every choir and school musical to performing shows out of my garage. While performing was fun, I found myself more drawn to live show production. I worked as the Head of Sound for the music department, interned for Kung-Pow! Recording and Mastering, and even worked with The Moxie Strings.

Outside of academics, I founded The Tower, a student-centered non-profit organization in Nashville. The Tower served as a publishing company, blog, and promotional resource for collegiate-level artists. Every other night, I was attending new shows, meeting bands, attending promotional meetings, writing reviews, and gaining hands-on industry experience. All of this fueled both my career and songwriting material.

In December 2022, I started diving into artist management and launched an Artist Development division within The Tower to address the gaps collegiate-level artists often face. I developed myself as an Artist Manager, learning from mentors about scouting, signing artists, building artist databases, and networking in the industry. By April 2022, I completed my first series of contracts and started working closely with Keep the Eleven. After a monumental summer and fall season, Keep the Eleven played their first Live Nation stage at the Brooklyn Bowl in February 2023 for Summer Camp Music Festival.

Boston Calling was one of those festivals where the energy is undeniable, and I got the chance to experience it firsthand from behind the scenes. As an Administrative Assistant and Artist Relations coordinator, I helped with everything from scheduling and logistics to artist accommodations and ensuring all details were covered. I was on-site during the festival, assisting artists like the Foo Fighters, The National, Noah Kahan, and Paramore, making sure their travel, accommodations, and backstage needs were handled. Being part of the team that managed everything for such big-name artists was an incredible experience that gave me a true understanding of what it takes to pull off a massive event like Boston Calling.

Neste Live! is giving me the opportunity to dive into the world of corporate and private events, working on everything from fundraisers to large corporate celebrations. I work directly with Jill Kopecky, managing dozens of events globally. This diverse range of experiences—whether working with Fortune 500 companies, family-owned businesses or political conferences—taught me valuable skills and deepened my understanding of the live event industry.

You can't always find me, but when I'm not working, I’m either at a show, reading, hammocking, hosting, or taking time with friends.
